Dereham outfit Bad Touch are one of a tranche of acts unveiled in the first announcement for the inaugural Maid Of Stone festival this summer.

The event, which will take place in the Kent county town of Maidstone, replaces Ramblin’ Man Fair, which came to a controversial end when its organisers collapsed. Maid Of Stone has no ties to its predecessor.

The festival, which will take place on July 22 and 23, is a smaller affair than RMF – at least this year – but the artists unveiled so far suggest it’ll be focused on a similar mix of classic, blues and Southern rock.

Airbourne will headline the second night, with support from Skindred, and other names on the bill include Kris Barras Band, Elles Bailey, Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons and Collateral.
