News: Neck Of The Woods

Tickets have gone on sale for a new indie and alternative festival that’s being held in Norwich.

The three-stage indie and alt-rock Neck Of The Woods festival, which will be in Earlham Park in late May, will include local acts alongside some established names.

The Kooks

The Kooks will top the main stage, 15 years on from their debut album, the indie classic Inside In/Inside Out. Other bands on the main stage will include Sydney’s DMA’s and Sea Girls.

Alt-rockers Yonaka will headline the second stage, supported by the likes of Kawala, with their afrobeat rhythms, and Crawlers.

Meanwhile, the third stage will be showcasing some rising stars, including the psychedelic The Goa Express and Beth McCarthy.

Norwich’s Lozeak, who made waves with her debut single Word Vomit last year, will make an appearance, and organisers are promising that a local act will kick the afternoon off on the main stage.

Keep an eye on Norfolk Rocks over the next few months for further details on Neck Of The Woods, which will be held on Sunday, May 29.
