Extreme metallers Carcass are on their way to Norwich as part of a two-week run of shows ahead of their slot at Download.

The Liverpool band will bring their Bloody Blighty tour to The Waterfront on Sunday, June 4, with support from Unto Others and Conjurer.

It’s their first full UK tour since the 1990s and it comprises 14 dates over 14 consecutive nights.

The show is likely to include numbers from their well-received seventh album, Torn Arteries, which was released last year.

Ahead of the tour, bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker said: “I’ve a wager with Kam from Live Nation that this tour will NOT sell out.

“I’m banking on the Great British public to make me £10 richer by the time we get to Download. Thank you in advance.”
