Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Courtney Marie Andrews starts a whistlestop seven-date UK tour at Norwich Arts Centre tomorrow (Friday, June 17).
Her breakthrough album was Honest Life, released in 2016, and she received her first Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album for 2020’s Old Flowers, which was her seventh record.

Rolling Stone said the song Burlap String, from Old Flowers, “brings to mind classic Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, but Andrews’s bell-clear voice and fearless message of introspection are unmistakably her own”.
Andrews, who’s originally from Arizona, was in punk bands during high school before becoming a touring member of Jimmy Eat World when she was 18.
Her next release will be Loose Future, which is due out in October.
Andrews will be supported by Lola Kirke.
