Former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath star Glenn Hughes will visit Norfolk as part of a tour to mark 50 years of Purple’s iconic Burn album.
The show at The Waterfront, Norwich, on Wednesday, July 19, will see the bassist and singer play songs from the Mk III and Mk IV Purple eras.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee joined Purple in 1973. Vocalist Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover had just finished their first stints with the band, and the new line-up included Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord and Ian Paice with the addition of Hughes and David Coverdale.
Over the next few years, Hughes performed on the Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band albums.
Hughes’s extensive back catalogue also includes Black Country Communion, Trapeze and Dead Daisies albums as well as his solo output.
