by Adam Aiken

Dante and Jools Gizzi, founder members and the collective driving force behind Gun, will be performing an acoustic set in Norwich this spring.

The brothers will be at The Waterfront on Wednesday, April 19 as part of their Acoustic ’23 tour, which follows last year’s release of The Calton Songs.

With one exception, the tracks on the album – which was recorded by the full band – are acoustic reworkings of Gun classics from across the Glaswegians’ back catalogue.

The Calton Songs reached No 2 on the Scottish album chart and No 6 on the UK indie chart.

The acoustic performances by the Gizzis will be bookended by a bunch of electric shows by the full five-man line-up.

Towards the end of last year, Gun were honoured with the Rock Legend award at the Hard Rock Hell weekend in Yarmouth.
