Preview: Ibibio Sound Machine

Electronic afro-funk band Ibibio Sound Machine will swing by Norfolk this week.

The eight-piece outfit will be at Norwich Arts Centre on Thursday, May 23.

Their visit will follow the recent release of Pull The Rope, their fifth album.

Led by Eno Williams and founder member Max Grunhard, Ibibio Sound Machine label themselves as inspired by west African funk, disco, modern post-punk and electro.

The show will include an opening DJ set by Norfolk’s Nathan Fake, who’s from Necton.
