Other household names on the bill include Heaven 17, The Farm, Midge Ure, Tony Hadley, Johnny Hates Jazz, Toyah and Five Star.

The rest of the line-up is made up of T’Pau, Neville Staple, Blancmange, Janet Kay, Livin’ Joy, Neal X, Junior and Hollywood Beyond.

Organisers label Let’s Rock as “a celebration of all things pop and 80s” – the “era when pop ruled the world”.

The family-friendly event includes a Kids’ Kingdom area with an interactive circus, face-painting and inflatables.

The Norwich festival is one of nearly a dozen Let’s Rock events being held across the country this year, with the first having taken place in May in Berkshire.
