Next weekend sees the 15th anniversary of Raw Material, one of Norwich’s longest-running drum & bass events.

The music kicks off at Bar 19, Upper King Street, at 9pm on Saturday, November 4.

Appearing on the night will be Trigga, Nicky Blackmarket, Bassman, Ego Trippin, Shabba D, Pleasure, Herbzie, Twisted Individual, MC Fearless and Juiceman.

Other DJs and MCs include Adz, Dub Justice, Boogieman, DNA, Selection, Dirty DJ, Factual, Indigo, Miss Judged and Fury.

There are also more than a dozen other acts due to play in the second room.

The event is being held in memory of J2B – Jonny Fidd, one of the founders of Raw Material back in 2008.

Shane Hicks, another of the original founders, said: “Raw Material always has a wicked vibe, and it’s the biggest D&B line-up in the city centre this year. Line-ups like this don’t happen often in Norwich.”

Daniel Jack, the third founder, added: “It’s a great mix of artists, with four headline sets with B2B MCs.

“And we’ve taken the production and venue to another level, with professional sound and lighting installed to make the event extra special.”

There are 50 tickets being saved for purchase on the door, but to buy in advance click here.
