Sam Lee will play a couple of gigs in East Anglia in March, just days after the release of his fourth album.
The folk singer’s Songdreaming record is out in the middle of the month, and fans will get the chance to hear tracks from it when he plays Norwich Arts Centre on Tuesday, March 26.
It’ll be the first album by the Mercury Prize-nominated artist since 2020’s acclaimed Old Wow.
Songdreaming is “built on the backbone of double bass, percussion and violin” and is “infused with a world of instrumentation including the Arabic qanun, Swedish nyckelharpa, small pipes and more”.
Ahead of his visit to Norfolk, Lee will play Storey’s Field Centre, Cambridge, on Thursday, March 21.
