There’ll be an evening of Shanty Punk when Skinny Lister play Norfolk later this week.

The London five-piece outfit will be promoting their well-received sixth album at Norwich Arts Centre on Thursday, November 30 – part of a 15-date tour of the UK and Ireland.

The 11 songs on Shanty Punk, which is the follow-up to 2021’s A Matter Of Life & Love, tell the story of the band through their own eyes.

Singer/guitarist Dan Heptinstall said: “Shanty Punk is our concept album – and the concept is Skinny Lister.

“It felt to us like it was time to touch base and celebrate the essence of the band.”

After Christmas, Skinny Lister will be heading to the continent for more than a dozen shows over there.
