Somebody’s Child – aka Cian Godfrey – has announced an autumn visit to Norfolk as he looks to build on the buzz that’s seen many of his current UK and Europe dates sell out.

He’ll be at The Waterfront Studio, Norwich, on Saturday, September 30.

The news comes hot on the heels of the recent release of Somebody’s Child’s self-titled debut album.

The record draws on inspirations including 1980s synth bands such as The Cure and Joy Division as well as the guitar-based indie scene of the 2000s.

“It’s a culmination of a lot of different areas and styles, but comes together under the same sonic heading,” said Godfrey, who’s been getting airplay on the likes of Radio 1 and BBC6 Music.

“Most of all, I want my music to help people who are struggling. I struggled with anxiety and panic attacks and music grounded me, so I would like to think my music could help change someone’s life too.”
