Preview: The Chills

by Adam Aiken

New Zealand indie rockers The Chills are on their way to the UK for the first time in six years, with a date in Norfolk included on their itinerary.

Their show at Norwich Arts Centre, on Wednesday, June 14, will be just one of five in the UK, with a further one scheduled for over the water in Dublin.

Heralded by many as the founders of the indie scene, the Dunedin band – led by singer/songwriter and ever-present member Martin Phillipps – are set to perform tracks from across their career, which has spanned more than four decades.

Support will come from Netherlands outfit Rats On Rafts.
