The latest incarnation of The Room will take place in Gorleston this weekend.
The evening at the Ocean Room, on Saturday, March 12, was originally scheduled for last month but was delayed amid covid uncertainty.
It’s now going ahead with a capacity of 400, which is smaller than for pre-pandemic events.
There will be a typically eclectic bill for the multi-stage show, which is based on the Later With Jools Holland format.

There will be four original acts – Norwich three-piece indie outfit The Renadeans; “rootsy blues” Lowestoft duo Danny R & Paul Gillings, on guitar and harmonica; Das Fenster & The Alibis, who add a voodoo edge to their rockabilly, swing and Afro-Caribbean influences; and Llewelyn, who have reformed after nearly 30 years.
The Room promoter Howard Marshall said: “Fronted by local music legend Paul Johnson, who has reformed the original line-up of the band, it is 28 years since Llewelyn last all played together, with their powerful stadium-style indie rock.
“It is The Room’s honour for this band to choose it as the event to reform.”
Meanwhile, house band The H Gang will play a wide range of covers during the course of the evening and finish the night with a finale of upbeat tracks to get people on to the dance floor.

“We are still mindful of people’s concerns in attending venues so we have limited the number of tickets available to 400,” said Marshall.
“This is well below the numbers normally attending but we are hopeful this will encourage live-music-goers to come out and support not just The Room but other gigs and shows that promoters and establishments are trying to put on.”
At a Room event just before lockdown, The H Gang were joined on stage by Brit Award and Ivor Novello Award winner Rag’n’Bone Man.
There are a few tickets, at £10, still available. Click here for more details.
